Calabar International Convention Center (CICC)

The project is located in calabar state – Nigeria. Our scope details the steel structural design of the precast slab holder (PSH) system and the stiffener of Drip edge former that supports the PSH. It defines, describes and justifies the structural global solution and the design of the main elements and the elements of assembly between:
- The Drip Edge former and the spreader beam and the precast slab holder and the stiffeners of the Drip edge former.

The “PRECAST SLAB HOLDER” shall support the inclined slab and the formwork and the workers of the blocks A, B and C of the Calabar International Convention Center (CICC).

The complete 3d models for the three blocks (A – B – C) were prepared for this system show the structural elements, the input and output data. The results of these models are used for the design and justification of RC structures and the steel scaffolding system of the main cantilever facade part of our scope was the preparation of the shop drawing plans of the steel elements + production of detailed plans for joints between steel elements
